Have you ever asked yourself—Why do I feel so disconnected? Why do I carry this constant undercurrent of anxiety, even when life looks “fine” on the outside?
We’ve been there. And we want to share something with you that religion often misses but the Father’s heart freely offers:
You are loved. You are enough. Right here. Right now.
The Father’s Heart: What Religion Has Hidden From You
For many of us, religion taught us how to behave, but it didn’t teach us how to be loved.
It emphasized performance, rules, and the appearance of righteousness—but left us spiritually exhausted, wondering why peace and joy still felt out of reach.
But here’s the truth:
The Kingdom isn’t about perfect behavior. It’s about perfect love. And perfect love starts with knowing the heart of the Father.
Brett’s Story: How a Distant Father Created a False Identity
I (Brett) grew up with a dad who was physically present but emotionally unavailable.
He worked hard. And when he wasn’t working, he was asleep on the floor or lost in the TV.
I remember standing by the glass sliding door as a little boy, feeling trapped—seeing a whole world outside but believing I couldn’t reach it.
That moment branded me with a false identity: If I’m going to survive, I have to figure everything out on my own.
That belief drove me to fierce independence… and right into a cycle of trauma and isolation.
It wasn’t until years later, through EMDR counseling, that I realized something profound: Jesus had been there in that moment all along.
I just didn’t know how to see Him.
Three Pillars of the Father’s Heart
So what is the Father’s heart really about?
We’ve discovered three powerful truths:
1. Full Acceptance
The Father doesn’t say, “Clean up, then come to me.”
He says, “Come to me exactly as you are—I already love you more than you could imagine.”
This is the kind of love that says, You are loved. You are enough.
It’s not based on your performance. It’s based on His nature.
2. Constant Connection
God never leaves.
Even when we feel far away, He’s closer than our very breath. His heart is always turned toward you, longing for you to simply meet His gaze again.
Unlike our human tendency to withdraw when people frustrate us, the Father moves toward us—patiently, lovingly, without hesitation.
3. Overflowing Joy
Religion makes God seem serious and distant. But Heaven is full of joy, and so is the Father.
When we think of Jesus, we sometimes forget He was the kind of man who nicknamed His disciples and laughed freely.
It was for the joy set before Him that He endured the cross.
If you’re lacking strength in life, check your joy level. Because the joy of the Lord is your strength.
Why So Many Struggle with Anxiety and Separation Today
We’re living in a generation overwhelmed by anxiety and depression.
But have you ever considered that this is really spiritual separation anxiety?
At the root, our hearts long to be reconnected to the Father. And until that happens, no coping mechanism, medication, or worldly success will satisfy.
Jesus came to restore exactly what was lost: our connection with the Father.
How to Reconnect with the Father’s Heart
This isn’t about fixing yourself. It’s about receiving what’s already yours.
Start here:
- Listen to Your Self-Talk.
Are the words in your mind and mouth filtered through full acceptance, connection, and joy? - Get Alone and Ask the Father to Reveal Himself.
Sit in the quiet and simply say, “Tell me about Yourself.”
He has more to say than you could imagine. - Go Low and Slow.
You don’t have to figure this out overnight. God loves the process. He’s patient. And He enjoys every step of it with you.
Your Next Step
If you’ve spent your life trying to earn love, perform for approval, or numb the ache of disconnection—today is the day to lay that down.
You are loved. You are enough.
Just as you are.
And when you live from that place, you’ll find the strength and joy you’ve been searching for.
We’d love to hear from you—what’s one false belief you’re unlearning about the Father?
